Using the audio level

The Audio Level bar changes color to reflect the quality of the audio being recorded.

When the bar is green, the audio level is good and should produce a quality dictation file. When the bar turns orange/red, audio levels are reaching ranges that may have a negative effect on audio quality and, therefore, report recognition. During dictation, users should try to keep the audio levels in the green range.
