Over the shoulder signing

If necessary, a resident radiologist can perform an "over the shoulder" signing. This is when the staff radiologist views the report on the resident's screen and signs it.

To do an "over the shoulder" signing

  1. Dictate the report in FFI Reporting.

  2. Click the Over the Shoulder Sign Report button to launch the window where the staff radiologist can sign the report.

  3. Choose the staff radiologist who will sign the report.

  4. The staff radiologist must enter his/her FFI Reporting username and password, then click Sign.

Note

The "undo sign" function works with this workflow, but the report cannot be rejected.
