Tip
Username and Password are case sensitive!
When logging in for the first time, or if you have requested a password change, you may receive the following notification and the application will prompt you to change your password. This does not apply to all users and is dependent on your configuration.

The Control Bar will notify users of the application status. Error Messages will appear above or below the Control Bar, depending upon the position of the Control Bar on the desktop. Error messages will be displayed for a short time before fading away.

Confirm Medical Specialty
Fluency Direct will display a pop-up message when logging in to validate that the correct medical specialty is selected. This message will tell you what medical specialty is selected and you can click the blue link to change or confirm your selected medical specialty.

Closing Fluency Direct
There are three options for closing Fluency Direct, you can utilize any of the three ways depending on what works best for you and your organization.
Note
If your organization has Single Sign On methods (such as Imprivata), you may be able to skip this step.
Sign Out. Log out of Fluency Direct using the Sign Out option; this option will not exit the application, it will remain running on your desktop but you will no longer be logged in.
This option would be best used in a scenario where multiple providers are accessing the same instance of Fluency Direct. Signing out prevents other users from using your profile but keeps the application running for them to sign in.
Quit.To exit the application completely (the Control bar will no longer be available on your desktop), select Quit from the Control Bar menu. When you start the application the next time, you will remain signed in.
This option is best used when you are running Fluency Direct from a machine that only you have access to. It allows you to close the application, but you don't have to sign in each time you open Fluency Direct, allowing you to work more efficiently.
Sign Out and Quit. To log out of the application and close it, select the Sign Out option, then select the Quit option. This will ensure that no other user can login as you.
This option is best used when you are using a shared computer among multiple providers and non-providers, meaning you do not want to keep the application running when not in use and you want to force each provider to login in with their profile upon start-up.
