Using voice-activated fields

Voice-activated fields offer unique options for navigation and workflow in a document.

  • Navigation: It is possible to navigate to any field using the FF/RW keys to progress through all fields in a document. However, it is also possible to navigate to voice-activated fields using a voice command. Speaking the voice cue of a field will navigate to the field. See the Appendices or the list of voice commands in the application to learn more about the voice commands for navigating voice-activated fields.

  • Workflow: When a field with options is made active (for example, by navigating to the field using the NEXT FIELD voice command), a list of the field options is displayed on the right-hand side of the Dictation window. Each choice in the list is linked to a voice command (e.g, CHOOSE ONE, CHOOSE TWO, etc.) to easily insert the choice into the document. Note: You can also use your mouse to click and insert field options.
