Editor preferences
Editor preferences control the appearance and performance of the Editor within FFI.
Appearance
Editor Color: Match app theme / Custom
By default, the editor color will match the overall Application Theme. To use custom colors, select "Custom" and use the "Edit colors" links to edit custom colors.
Editor Borders: Less/More
Default font size: 15pt medium
Text cursor thickness: use the slider to set the thickness of the cursor to the desired width
Formatting
Capitalize the first word after quotation mark: Off / On
Capitalize dictated words when caps lock is on: Off / On
Place cursor at end when navigating to edited field: Off / On
Replace word surrounding text cursor when dictating: Off / On
Create list by saying "Number one": Off / On
Line breaks created by saying "New paragraph": Two / One
Navigation
Navigate to fields by saying "Go to" before the field name or voice cue: Off / On
Navigate between fields with tab and shift+tab keys: Off / On
Tab to go forward, shift+tab to go backward. Note that auto-complete hints are disabled when this setting is on.
Navigate to sections by saying "<SectionName>colon": Off / On
Play field names when navigating to fields: Off / On
Fluency for Imaging will speak the name of fields when navigating to them.
Skip tokens when navigating to fields: Off / On
Tokens, which are automatically filled, will be skipped when moving the cursor between fields.
Custom command to navigate to next field: for example, "skip"
Custom command to navigate to previous field: for example, "previous"
Highlighting
Highlight typed content from other authors (restart required): Off / On
Typed words added to the report by other authors are highlighted with an orange background color. If desired, background color can be adjusted in Editor > Appearance > Editor color :: Custom
Highlight misspelled words: Off / On
Misspelled words are underlined in red and can be corrected by right clicking on the entry to see a list of appropriate corrections..
Highlight relevant words: Off / On
Relevant words will be identified in blue text color. Examples of relevant words are ascending, descending, no, not, etc. If desired, font color can be adjusted in Editor > Appearance > Editor color :: Custom
Highlight to indicate speech recognition confidence: Off/On
Words that have a low recognition threshold will be identified with underlined red font. This feature allows users to quickly identify potentially misrecognized words for quick editing. New users may benefit from enabling this feature during the first month or two or until they are more confident in the speech recognition.
Highlight full concept when only part of it is selected: Off / On
When enabled, should a user select a portion of a full concept, the entire concept will be highlighted in gray. When dictating over that selection, the entire concept will be replaced. Examples of a full concept are: 63-year-old male or 11/11/2021
Templates
Show my templates before system templates: On / Off (may be disabled by an administrator)
Show templates relevant for the current exam type: On / Off
Relevant templates are associated with the exam code or body part and modality of the current exam.
How to handle edits and additions when switching templates:

Only template content that has changed will be retained when switching templates, regardless of this setting.

This feature is disabled if field navigation with tab/shift+tab is enabled.
Prompt for section/subsection titles: On / Off
Enable this option if you want to be prompted for a section/subsection name when using the voice command "New Subsection."
