Editing the vocabulary

Fluency for Imaging gives you the ability to create a custom dictionary of words or phrases, exclude words from the recognition dictionary, or use replacement rules. By adding words, you can force the system to learn words that may not be recognized properly.

Note

If you are using Fluency for Imaging with Fluency Direct, you will edit the vocabulary from Fluency Direct. See the Fluency Direct Dictionary topic for instructions on modifying the vocabulary with Fluency Direct.

The Abbreviations and Formatting options show in the illustration below are only available when using Fluency for Imaging with Fluency Direct.

Note

You can only Edit the vocabulary once you have launched a job.

Before adding words to the dictionary, correct the word by voice command or typing in the report. Once the report is signed, the recognizer should learn the radiologist's dictation behavior.
