Mobile Keyboard App Bar

The Mobile Keyboard App Bar is the toolbar across the top of the application. It house the clipboard feature, provides the ability to send, copy, and save your dictation files, and also allows you to access the Mobile Keyboard Settings menu.

Clipboard

Select the clipboard icon to copy the dictation to your clipboard. Click anywhere in the text field and select Paste to paste the content back in.

Selecting a single word or phrase wil display the editing toolbar above the word, allowing you to Cut, Copy, Paste, Replace, Lookup, or Share the selection.

Send

The Send icon allows you to perform a variety of actions with your dictation. You can sned it to an app, copy, or save to files. You can Edit the Actions to set your preferences at the top.

Settings

The Settings window will display a list of settings and features that you can customize to make your keyboard function the way you prefer.

Account

The Account screen displays your Username with the CDS Account below it.

  • You can press Unlink to remove the account from the application.

  • You can have more than one account linked.

  • You can add additional accounts by pressing the plus sign in the upper right corner.

Keyboard

The Keyboard options allow you to customize your dictation experience. If the button is green, the option is enabled.

Speech Box

Select to enable the Speech Box.

Auto-Capitalization

When on, the first letter of each sentence will automatically be capitalized.

Auto-Correct

When on, the auto-correct option will be enabled.

Enable Caps Lock

This feature will enable caps lock.

Character Preview

This feature will enable character preview. The character key you type enlarges for a second as you type it, popping up on your screen.

"." Shortcut

This feature will enable the "." shortcut which allows you to hit the space bar twice to enter a period.

Open System Keyboard Settings

This link will take you directly to your keyboard settings, allowing you to enable or disable the M*Modal Keyboard.

About

This screen will display the Version information which can be used when troubleshooting technical issues.

Clear Text

Click the X in the top right corner to clear all text in the dictation window.
