Using SmartImpress

The SmartImpress function allows you to automatically generate the Impression section of a report based on text entered in the Findings section. Impressions are listed in order of importance, from most clinically significant to the least.

To use SmartImpress
  1. Enter text in the Findings section of the report, either through dictation or by typing.

  2. Click SmartImpress on the toolbar or use the voice command SmartImpress.

  3. The impression section will be automatically entered into the report. The text will flash highlighted in yellow to alert you before changing color.

Important

If you make any changes to the Findings section, you will need to run the SmartImpress command again.
